AI should only be text based and NEVER generate media. if its teaching you how to code, yep i get it. educational purposes for free, in fact i learned all of my coding skills from AI, especially the variable parts and functions. other than that, i dont see ANY reasonable reason to generate artworks and videos. i think that AI should only be for educational purpose, mentoring purpose and NOT generating images and video. plus, AI is supposed to be a tool, not a replacement. and also, I think that AI should never give you homework awnsers but instead teaches you step by step.
Im Radiation-s in minecraft. yes i go with alot of names.
I actually use AI for my school in questions that are kinda hard to me, and of course I read all the reasons because why (x) option is the correct one. It actually helps me in my grades, so I think that's a correct use for AI

I agree. I think AI being done for quick info-gathering (in a more casual, not professional, setting) sounds like a reasonable application of it. The part that pisses me off is why are they trying to make it replicate media? And even worse, there are people who try to defend and promote this stuff, which is just absurd. I did actually use AI for code once, mainly because it solved a problem I had that I wouldn't have figured out otherwise.
text-only AI⦠might be more tolerable? i just still canât see a use for this tech that benefits the human experience. iâm definitely highly against AI image, video, and audio generation; not just because iâm an artist, but especially because itâs used for scams and fake news. i mean, golly gee, whoâda thunk that a technology that can generate literally anything with a text prompt and the press of a button would be used to sell lies? who couldâve POSSIBLY seen THAT coming???

but still, dont blindly/fully rely on it
of course, I still research manually when I can, I only use AI when it's too hard or there is no useful info on the internet (most of the time the teachers won't let me use wikipedia and instead they force me to search for 10 years old outdated government website with little to no info)

It's quite sad that instead of finding real images made by people who studied photography for ages aren't shown, yet an AI-generated image gets thousands of uses for a low-quality image...

or finding real art made by people who studied art and worked hard on it
