A few days ago I did a photoshoot with my friends (courtesy of my film departments photo booth) and did some 2007 style web ads

So this is something I've been thinking about for a while is how nostalgia seems to weaponized online. For a lot of us, perhaps with some rose tinted glasses, have positive memories with older tech, and the old web and I think there are things we can learn from it (aka, offline as an option, RSS, open communication and information). But while I was still on twitter I noticed this weird trend of "This is what they took from us" as they show a (usually ai slop image) of a messy room with a CRT on turned to Video that echos the same "Retvrn" vibe that just rubs me the wrong way.

So I guess my question is do you ever get worried about slipping into that mentality?

I like to think I'm not like that, but I get worried sometimes when I get a little wistful about ps1/2 graphics.

Hey guys, this is my first time using this app. I'm not really sure what to post, but I would like to share some kind words. I hope all of you are winning the battles that we don't see. I hope that whatever you're struggling with, whatever pain or problems you have to deal with, that you are powering through and making it. You all deserve to wake up tomorrow with a smile on your face. No matter how hard things get, I hope that you can make it to tomorrow smiling. Nobody deserves to not smile, so don't waste your beautiful grin by not smiling. I might not know alot compared to others on the internet, but the one thing i'm sure about is that it's gonna be okay as long as we can wake up the next day. Don't let others get to you, focus on what is important to you. Whether that thing is a person, a hobby, toy, or passion, stick to it and focus on it. No matter what anyone says, alsong as you're doing what you love, you're living a full life. That being said, I hope everyone here can live a full life with a grin on their face. Keep winning those battles you dont talk about. feel free to also talk about how your feeling, someone will be here to back you up im sure. :D :D
