"Youtube to MP3" websites and playing them on whatever phone or device I have has been my way of listening to music for as long as I can remember. Though recently I found the website "Khinsider"(https://downloads.khinsider.com/) perfect to download any video game soundtracks if you're into that.

Khinsider is the gold mine of video games OSTs (they also got a quite decent collection of anime OSTs), this website is so amazing ! 90% of my video games OSTs are from here

i download it from spotify and youtube using third party websites
Im Radiation-s in minecraft. yes i go with alot of names.
I use a lot of different streaming services: internet radio, youtube music over freetube/newpipe, spotify but with adblock, bandcamp, funkwhale, etc etc. I also download music & audiobooks and then listen to it in audacious or amarok. A good place to find free music to download if you don't wanna sail the seven seas is: the free music archive. Edit: I might switch back to listening to stuff in AIMP because they've announced they're finally giving proper support for Linux and are becoming "truly cross platform."
I download music from YouTube or Bandcamp. I use AIMP (local media player) on Windows and Android due to its skinning capabilities and advanced tools such as bulk tag editor. I like having all my music in one place.
