There's Element/Matrix, which I learned about from it having a Web App preinstalled into Linux Mint, but I joined and none of my friends switched over. So I don't really care about it anymore since I'm literally alone.
I met a crypto scammer, but after I pointed out his scam, I think he tried to block me, but didn't, then did after I sent a bunch of Tenna related memes

I'm currently using Spacebar over the Fermi client. It's a bit buggy. But Mathium (the person behind Fermi) seems open to constructive criticism & is quick with bug fixes. I also have a Matrix and XMPP. But I barely use those. No one seems to contact me on XMPP and on Matrix, I can't seem to get it to verify my account for end to end encryption.
discord alternatives? ehhh⦠not really. i just look for forums if i want to be part of a community. the only discord servers iâm in are usually those of music labels i follow, like monstercat or bitbird. anywhere else, i go to forums. besides, a lot of âalternativeâ social media is just bad, and that could be due to the nature of social media itself
Honestly, I love Discord, because there I found my first ever online friends. They had their own dramas n stuff of course, but after all they are my only friends and the only ones that actually understand me... Plus, I met my best friend on Discord, so I don't think I will leave it soon :c
This page is cool too, but it's kind of weird to login everyday here, honestly. I also want to have friends here, but unfortunately the only way I feel comfortable is with Discord, sorry for that :c

I'm not telling anyone to stop using it, just use it in moderation like anything else (so not like me).
