Well, my DAD does, but I spent all night last night "acquiring" games for it and playing it. I been looking around forums and other online places and turns out you can actually still connect a DreamCast to the internet. Since the DreamCast requires a 56k Dial-up modem connection, you'll have to "simulate" a connection by using a USB Modem that send electrical power to the phone line cable (such as DreamCast Live's modded USB Modem), and you'll need to setup a dial-up server. You can do this with a pre-imaged Raspberry Pi OS called DreamPi, or you can run a DC-PC server on a PC.
Currently in my situation I can either:
Buy the Modem and put time and effort into manually setting up the DC-PC server
Buy the Modem and a Raspberry Pi 3/4 and use DreamPi. (Unfortunately isn't compatible with my 5b Pi model.)
This is gonna be a project I'll hopefully get going and finished one day. I could also just get the Broadband Adapter (BBA), but it's SUPER costly and has limited game compatability. So the cheapest and easiest method for me to do this is to either setup DreamPi or a PC-DC server. If I get this finished one day, I could be playing Phantasy Star Online, on real hardware! I also wanna test the old DreamCast web browsers too, but the quest begins!
