Hello!

Unread post by TechPerson389 »

This is the second forum I have ever used (first one was WinClassic) but this is my first time posting on one lol

I run Windows 10 with a Windows 7 theme on my computer (which came out in the Windows 7 era too lol), and I have a guide on my website here for anyone else who wants to do the same.

Speaking of my website. My website! I made it about 3 years ago and I really like how it has come out! It has guides about things, shrines to things, and just other random stuff. If you like that kind of thing, check it out!

I also have a old video game hobby of sorts. I have a Wii U (just got two days ago!), Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, Wii, PlayStation 2, Nintendo 64, and an Atari 2600. I also have a PS4 and Switch, but I don't use them often. My favorite consoles are the PlayStation 3 (LittleBigPlanet my beloved) and the Wii.

It's probably gonna be fun using a forum like this, since I never really have before! :yellow_biggrin:

Like I mentioned. I play LittleBigPlanet on it. I LOVE those games.

I also sometimes play Skate 3, Black Ops 1 (I have 2 but I haven't played it yet), Sonic 06, Unleashed, and Generations, Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destructions, Minecraft (sometimes), and I have played a little bit of Assassin's Creed 3 and L.A Noire. I also gotta play Red Dead Redemption sometime. I have it, but I haven't played it yet.

Your website looks very well designed!
But I personally think your console collection is the most impressive thing! It's probably really fun to have so many :) I'm just really impressed by people who keep the good old devices up and running. I don't think generally there is that many people who appreciate stuff like this, but hey this forum is exactly for this type of guys so welcome :wavegreen:

P. S. Btw I myself have only just registered a week ago as well and for me this is my first forum experience

Thank you very much!

You're right. It is cool having a lot of these consoles. I love having all of these unique consoles with their own different identities. Also the games are really good. Like I mentioned before, I just got a Wii U 3 days ago, and I have been having a LOT of fun with it. It came with Pokken Tournament and LEGO Jurassic Park (they're fine) and I bought LEGO City Undercover (great game so far, it came yesterday) and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (Not here yet. it is the sequel to one of my favorite Wii games though!) alongside those. I have also enjoyed homebrewing the thing as well, but now I am just rambling about the Wii U now lol :yellow_laugh:.

Thank you very much! I really like adding themes to the theme selector for some reason. I don't quite know why, but it feels satisfying.

They are my favorite games of all time. I love LBP and lots of the levels made on them. My favorite one of the three is the first game because of it's unique charm it has and it also was the first one I played.

I also love how limitless Minecraft is. I am not particularly a builder or anything like that, but I love just going out and collecting resources, exploring, and sometimes building.

I played it all the way back in 2009 and I agree the first one had charm, I always liked the story mode better on the first game, but the second had cool DLCs and most of the content was ported over if you played the first game so it wasn't a big deal.

Minecraft is awesome for exploring, I do like to build too but I'm not really that good at it hehe
We have a Minecraft server btw if you want to join (on 1.6.4, address is mc.frutigeraeroarchive.org)

Another thing is that the music is amazing in all of the games, especially the first game. I am currently listening to Tea By The Sea right now and it's a bop!

I am also not good at building lol.

I am not really a multiplayer person tbh. I can't make my brain dedicate itself to more than one world for some reason lol, but I might hop on a couple times to check out what has been done though.
