Heyo welcome! I loved playing Professor Layton, I just remember sitting down every now and then with my sister as we cracked down on puzzles and progressing through story on the old DS lite as well as the more recent ones on the 3DS. I think the perfect name for the genre of music you like listening to at the moment would be Alternative Rock or Progressive Metal, those are good ones.
Thanks! Glad you had a good time with Layton, especially since you had someone to share the experience with in real life, I'm still yet to find someone who knows the games... but I have a couple of people in mind who might :yellow_biggrin: I've actually been holding off on starting Miracle Mask because it's taken me well over a year to actually find a copy of Azran Legacy, but they had one in stock at my local CeX a couple of weeks ago for £28 (about $56.28 AUD according to some converter website, not sure if it's accurate lol), which is a win in my book honestly. I look forward to starting them both once I finish Ocarina of Time 3DS!!

And thanks for the genre names, I've heard them tossed about before but never really knew what they meant, so it's good to now have a rough idea of what they represent!
That is wild! :yellow_eek:
Even today I didn't expect the professor layton games to be at that value especially azran legacy. I luckily have a copy of it here but I lack the DS to play it, my 3DS stopped working some time ago so I am sad. Hope you can get your hands on a copy soon, it is a great game! :yellow_bouncey:

Some of my favourite books so far are Watership Down, Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes (I've read up to and including The Final Problem) and Warrior Cats (my judgement may change as I've only read the first 3 books of the first arc, still waiting for the last 3 to arrive).
Nice to meet you and I'm glad to see someone else here likes anthropomorphic fiction too, especially such a classic of the genre!

:sign_yeahthat:
I know, right? I mean, from the amount of times I've bumped into people talking about it online (and in group chats in COVID, RIP Google Hangouts) and the amount I play Animal Jam (which I forgot to mention, oops - I like some MMOs like the aforementioned Animal Jam and Club Penguin Legacy) where these roleplays used to be really prevalent... and where I got spoiled with that name... I'm genuinely surprised I haven't read it before. I know I would've loved it as a child based on how dark Watership Down can get sometimes.
have you read guardians of gahoole? ive also heard its a good / similar series even though i only read the first book

I've never actually heard of Guardians of Gahoole before, sounds very interesting if I say so myself. I'll definitely have to note that one down and look into it, thanks for the recommendation!

If you're a Warriors type of person, then you should also get into Wings of Fire. Loved it as a kid, still kind of a guilty pleasure of mine. Just last year I read through the third series; probably my favorite out of all of them tbh
