what’s something weird you did when you were a kid? i assume many of us are still young, but think back and share your goofiest childhood moments

for instance: i used to hate music class and would sing like a robot (or not even “sing” per se) during the christmas musicals my elementary school did every year. idk why, i just did. which is a far cry from now, when music is the lifeforce of my existence

The weirdest shit i done as a kid was usually opening an optical disk drive (it was built in on my toshiba laptop) and play with it many times
like closing it and opening it.... theres this weird thing that my father told me is that i used to scratch cds but i dont think i did that lmao

teheh twinzies fr honestly i miss when laptops used to have ODD , gud thing is that ive got an external one and let me tell you its been several years since i havent used it for sooooo long (because mine recently died out years ago on the laptop,it was my dumbass sibling who broke it)

I used to chew pens like A LOT. Went through quite a few that ended up broken because of that habit lol

I used to marathon video games like crazy. When Friday night hit, if there was something I really wanted to play I would sit for 24+ hours at a time and just grind through stuff. I don't know how my parents tolerated it. Renting a game over the weekend was more than enough time to grind through most stuff, so needless to say I was disappointed when the last one in town went out of business.

When I was kindergarten-aged I used to boot up Twilight Princess on the Gamecube to do not much else but wear the Zora armor and swim around Lake Hylia. I never took that armor off. I really wanted to be a Zora in the game so I would just pretend that I was. I guess that's what happens when Link is piloted around by a 5 year old

I did a lot of weird shit as a kid, especially with my toys.

I remember once, when I was 7 years old, giving some of my Barbie dolls some tattoos on their legs and faces with a black pen one evening because I thought tattoos were the coolest thing after noticing the ones my mom has on her shoulders and near the back of her neck.

I also remember pretending I was a Winx fairy at recess and at the play area of one of my childhood malls at that age (I so badly wished I were a fairy that could shoot out powerful bursts of energy from my hands, not to mention fly, because of that show).

on a related note, i remember how i used to refuse to play as female characters in games, or wish that female characters i liked were not girls. yeah, yikes… glad i grew out of THAT phase
