Consider moving the MC server to new versions

Recently, I got back into Minecraft again. I was searching for a vanilla server to play on, but then I remembered that this site has its own server. I understand why the server is on version 1.6 — it does have that nostalgia factor — but in my opinion, Minecraft on newer versions might be a better choice.

I already upgraded recently from beta 1.7.3 and I don't see the point of upgrading again. and I like old Minecraft better for its simplicity. No cheated elytras, loot everywhere, pillagers, and other distractions. So yeah sorry but it's not gonna happen.

i always saw pillagers as cool and all that but yea i get why it would be annoying (i'm looking at you, raids)
