Since I've recently taken a liking to my nostalgia about the 2000s - early 2010s with the customization of my desktop I've also started playing older games that I used to play on those years (plants vs zombies, minecraft, etc.) however those are games I've already played countless times, even the past decade and the past 5 years, so I'm searching for recommendations about any game for pc from those years, It would be nice to find a "new old game" (a good classic that I didn't know about) to add to my library.
GTA IV is great, it's pretty much a snapshot before social media and the internet now.
Of course there are some issues with it being the transition game from the PS2 to Modern Era, but it still holds up well.
Though I have no idea what the hell Rockstar was doing with the PC Port, so you'll 100% need to use Fusion Fix on Github to make the game run correctly and not crash on you 100 times in a row.

I recommend, if you like a game with spectacular story and real aesthetic vibe. Play Final Fantasy X, story is enough to make a grown man cry, well in my case it did when I was young. Along with Kingdom Hearts. Or if you are looking for something else, the ideas of Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2005) is definitely worth playing, the amount of hours I would spend playing that and with my cousin on my PS2 are outnumbered, they have a port of the game on steam with full working servers and the uje of offline play.
Btw the OP of this thread (nightowl) never migrated their account from Proboards to the new forum, so I don't think they're able (or even aware) about new games recommandations posts :/
But it can still help other curious people who want to try some fun and cool 2000s/2010s games
