Thanks. The thing I like about it is that it seems to actually change audio/update manager/etc icons instead of just leaving it as the default icons like so many other retro themes for linux seem to do.

Yes. Some desktop environments let you change accent colors through the settings like Cinnamon. (It's a GTK theme. So I can do used with a lot of desktop environments.) It shows as a different font on my system & you can change your operating system's default font in settings. There is a green version called Dark Mint too.
