Sony Clié PEG-UX40/50 (2003)

Unread post by Patachoo »

Sharing today this beautiful piece of technology, one of the PDAs (Personal Digital Assistant) created by Sony, with the Clié serie between 2000 and 2005

This one is from 2003, running on Palm OS 5. It was mostly marketed as a "multimedias center" instead of just a classic PDA (Sony always loved including media related things in their products before), being able to read and display videos and photos, music player, synchronize your phone messages etc . Got a rotating screen, a stylus was included for handwriting on the screen part, and was compatible with HotSync to synchronize data between a PC and the PDA. The UX50 version was also compatible with wireless LAN and Bluetooth

It’s look like a tiny mini laptop, and the design is truly beautiful !

This PDA is sought after by collectors, unfortunately its price is very expensive in second-hand markets

What a cute little device, I absolutely adore small tech.

I am not the only one that this thing is a little cute.
The keyboard looks really hard to use.
