Btw just wanna add that in Europe, support for Windows 10 will be extended for an extra year. I don't remember 100% why but I think the EU forced Microsoft to do thisI'm not surprised. From what I hear, the EU has better privacy protections than the US on average. I think they also made it so that Microsoft allows local accounts on Windows 11 in the user is from the EU if I'm not mistaken.
I haven't heard that myself but I really do hope so. Regardless of whether they allow that or not, I'll try to make a local account when I have to update to Windows 11...
I'm personally on a dual boot with linux mint and windows 11, Most of the time I'm using the linux side but when I need to use something that's only available on windows, I boot on windows, however It's been a while since I've last went to windows. Wine and proton works really well for me most of the time
Windows 10 is now giving you the option of enrolling into extended security updates. This will only work if you're in the EU. So if you're not change, your settings to Ireland or something.
