I just want to see this AI garbage out of search results already. No hate towards that video creator but why add fuel to the fire...
Like, I get it, they do a video like this as an experiment to see if AI can do something, but then you should at least explain to your audience that it's unethical. But I don't get the vibe from that video that she actually think that it is unethical.

These kind of videos were interesting a few years ago when AI was new, but now everyone knows that AI can "make" art, and that it freaking sucks. The video idea by itself is not bad, but it's just irresponsible and encourages people to create more AI slop. Like at least put a disclaimer saying that there are artists doing this and to support them instead of using AI?

i have a bit of a radical view on AI generated imagery "replacing" art -- i think it is entirely up to the people.

it's not like this tool or its use is going to disappear. it is absolutely here to stay. i think instead of uselessly fighting against its very existence, we need to start thinking harder about what we consider art. because if you see no difference between an ai generation and a piece of art, or even a well-framed photograph, then you aren't interfacing with art hard enough. ai generation *shouldn't* be a threat to a society that values art and human soul, but when we celebrate and buy into even human-made "slop", then what chance do we have? corporate logos, modern marvel movies, feelgood animated kids films with a dance party at the end... AI is already getting pretty good at replicating these. go figure!

yes, humans are just as capable of creating soulless garbage like an AI. so to me the issue isn't AI. it's a societal/cultural problem where we don't care enough on average to tell the difference. this is why i hang around communities like this and other art-focused communities.

so to me, this video doesn't really spark any harsh feelings. the generations were boring and not really hitting on what makes this aesthetic interesting at all. the video poster frequently pointed out generation mistakes, but these were irrelevant to the point; AI will one day get strong enough to avoid those. the point is, the AI never generated something i actually cared about.

i hear people are getting frustrated with a lot of AI slop invading actual spaces they used to celebrate art in, and that's a fair complaint to have. i'm not really sure what you do in that scenario besides pack it up and go somewhere where posts are sourced from soulful pieces of art. but hey, that's part of why this community exists i suppose.

I decided to watch the video and..
WHY? MY DEAR GOD WHY? I AM GETTING SO FED UP WITH AI. IT IS LITERALLY EVERYWHERE.
There are so many things that have soul and passion and humanity behind them. But there has to be that one bum that adds AI to it and tries to take the soul out of it. I am so. Tired of AI GARBAGE. It's literally everywhere. It's at school. It's in the LazyTown community. And Frutiger Aero is my last hope for humanizing media. And to see an insensitive video like this is just ridiculous.

I love Undefined's videos, but come on dude. AI's a piece of crap. This video just seems to be praizing it.

What happened to creativity?

Some people just seem to not understand that the best way to hurt AI, is not to acknowledge people using it for content.
