The weirdest thing I ever did as a wee child was tinker with my kiddie electronics. I was really into computers since I was like 4 and first personal laptop was a Vtech SpongeBob laptop lmao.

I also remember learning how to setup drivers and such for my LeapFrog reading pen completely by myself but I was pretty upset that I couldn't use it cause I only had the 1 SpongeBob book lmao.

outside of lava lamps im not sure how many physical things there are but the videogame Mirror's Edge has some absolutely amazing dorfic aesthetics. you can get it for cheap at most secondhand videogame stores.

they're tolerable for internet browsing and making documents, but horrible for anything else. I still can't believe these things came from the same company that gave us android . Even android can be decent for creative apps/programs (capcut comes to mind). On a chromebook, decent sites and "programs" for creative use are FAR and FEW between. Do I DARE discuss the horrid state of chromebook video editing?

off topic but who the HELL spends more than $500 on a chromebook. i've seen chromebooks on sale in the 1k price range!!!

Gran Turismo 4 is a game that I have used a lot to take photos of cars, it's really fun to take pictures in a PlayStation 2 game.

But yes, I can confirm that the photo studio in GT4 is very fun to tinker with, and the graphics look pretty good for a very very late '04 game (at least to me) so I'd be curious to see what would happen if you put a photo studio image in front of someone and asked roughly what year they think the game is from.

P.S. My personal favourite backdrop growing up was the one where the car would be on a boat in the middle of a river :yellow_biggrin:

That's cool, this forum is hosted on a VPS because I didn't want the risks associated with hosting it at home such as electricity going down shutting everything down (Also, I don't leave electricity on when I go on vacation), bandwidth limits and other security reasons. But maybe someday.
Anyways I like your posts on that forum, pretty good information.

its even harder on Xorg surprisingly, i had a more aero-like setup on Niri cause Waybar and Wofi let you use CSS for styling, but ive been having small annoyances with Wayland the entire time i've been using it so i went back to Xorg for now.

edit: forgot to say YAY ANOTHER BURIAL FAN!! its more rare than u think for others to know who he is, or maybe the ppl i meet just aren't tapped in.

i agree but i think there's a misunderstanding here. the guy was actually installing windows vista, not a desktop theme. i only mentioned he was on linux because i feel like the main appeal of linux is that it's more private ,

When I hover over a settings category on the sidebar, it starts showing white text on white.
Also for some reason, my browser has trouble saving that I'm using the dark theme after I close it.


Categories should be fixed, as for your other issue I don't have it so maybe you need to allow save cookies.
