cobalt is one of my favorite websites. I remember going to old ytmp3 websites and having to endlessly close popups, ads, stop autoplay videos, etc. just to download a video. This one surprised me because it doesn't have any ads, and its open source.
I got tired of a weird browser extension I was using to download videos from twitter, and I don't want to sign up for an account on it, or instagram, or anything. This is an amazing tool and I highly recommend.
The main instance is unfortunately blocked from youtube now. (too many people were using it?)
However if you reeally need youtube you can try this instance. (Instance is now blocked from youtube)
