Since I was bored, here is a thread consisting of a bunch of products Sony has made, their first, and their best-selling.

Gaming & Interactive Entertainment
Consoles

Started in December 1994 when they released the original PlayStation. Since then they have released numerous additions to the PS line. Their decision to enter the gaming industry has revolutionized graphics, made the move from cartridges to discs (but Gumball and Darwin didn't get that message), changed consoles to media hubs, and more!)

Their bestselling console: Playstation 2 (2000). 

Why: It had backwards compatibility with PS1 games and was cheaper then a dedicated DVD player.

My favourite: PS3 (2006)

Why: Nostalgia, Great exclusives, UI, and play Blu-Rays

Video Games

No duh they make consoles of course they need games with them. Anyways, the first PS launched with Ridge Racer, an arcade-style racing game. With 3D graphics and a popular soundtrack.. yeah people liked it. It didn't revolutionize video games at all.

Their bestselling game: SpiderMan 2 (2018).
Why: No idea. 

My favourite: LittleBigPlanet (2008)

Started in 1981 with the Mavica, an eccentric camera that stored the photos onto floppies. They started making digicams in attempts to make photography easier to consumers.
Their bestselling console: Alpha 7 III (2018)
Why: iDon't Know
Image sensors

Started in 2000, when they released the CMOS IMX001. CMOS would then become the standard for image sensors.

Bestselling: LYT-828

Why: 50MP and improved skin tone colors
