Windows 2000

Unread post by johndavid06 »

Windows 2000 has always captivated me and I hear all the time on how great Windows 2000 is but I have never used it before and I have no idea what version to pick xD
The only thing I have currently is a boot disk of Windows 2000 Professional Server and Advanced Server from my grandmother, I'd love to try out Windows 2000 someday and I'm curious on what are yall's thoughts on this OS.

The main difference I believe is that 2000 is based on the NT kernel instead of MS-DOS like Millenium Edition. Which made it way more stable and less prone to crashes than ME, but it was targeted towards businesses and servers rather than regular consumers.
Fun fact, the original Xbox system software was based on a heavily modified version of Windows 2000.

I've been searching for one as well, so if I get my hands on one, I'll give you some information on it.
