Why do you like Frutiger Aero?

We're all Frutiger Aero fans, it's why we are here right? So I'm curious, what is it that you like about Frutiger Aero?

In my case, obviously nostalgia is a powerful thing but also, Frutiger Aero is just a very pleasing aesthetic. Despite the once corporate nature, there was that sort of charm I liked that made tech graphics pop and have personality. I'm a huge fan of that glossy/glassy ui Windows had with 7 and the ui of the Wii and Wii U. I love how graphics emulated real life such as the usage of skeuomorphism. I love the lounge and relaxing music. I love the nature aspects especially when its photography. I especially love how ethereal it all can feel especially when you add the synths to the music and aurora themed graphics.

Frutiger Aero is not only a relaxing aesthetic, but also a charming aesthetic that I can't get enough of.

Personally for me, aside from nostalgia ofc, I really like the vibe the Frutiger Aero imagery gives off. It's like the real word but in a sort of perfection you only see in dreams.

I like Frutiger Aero because it mixes skeuomorphism and nature which looks very pleasing to the eyes in a comforting way. I prefer looking at images of nature or auroras surrounded by a glossy interface than a white background with everything being flat, it feels more futuristic.
Nostalgia also plays a role because I grew up with Windows Vista and Windows 7 and the consoles of that era.

aside from nostalgia, i appreciate the amount of effort that goes into the little details
my fav things about frutiger aero other than skeuomorphism are aero glass & the nature wallpapers

i think it's just bias from having windows 7 be the first operating system i ever used by myself. but also could be from things having effort to pop out and have color and such. like Menus. take the ps3 menu and compare it to something like the nintendo switch. i know it's an unfair comparasion but comparing the wii u to it would be an insult to the wii u.
but most of it amounts up to the bias of everything being Black and White with No Fun and Corporate and such now compared to everything showing a sort of bright future with technology and nature existing together. No i'm not gonna be part of the "future we were promised" gang because they did Not promise anything

Well the outlandish design seems fun and it reminds me of the first time i used Win7 and it's partially why I STILL use a PS3.

Personally I like it just because it makes me happy! It feels oddly peaceful, reminding me of times that were simple. it also just looks really pretty
