Why you should stay away from Mediatek/Unisoc/Exynos

Post by liamphonix133 »

Hi, Liam here.

If you like playing games on your phone (emulation, only good games on android imho), please NEVER touch phones with Mediatek, Unisoc, and Exynos processors.

And not even with emulation, even daily use will be bad as hell (with some exceptions on exynos tho).

First of all, Mediatek phones often claim to be "gaming phones!!1111 238945692835fps!!111", like for example Infinix or Tecno, funny thing is that not even their best processor (Mediatek Dimensity 9400+) can run Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with an stable framerate that's over 30fps. Hell, even my Snapdragon 865 on my S20 Ultra runs better than that piece of garbage. Same with Unisoc, but 10 times worse. It can't even
run PS2 AT ALL. What's next, Unisoc struggling to run Nintendo DS? even N64? I won't surprise me, honestly.

So, if you want a phone that's decent for gaming and stuff, go for Snapdragon. They're the best, of course in the mid range-high end models.
