Video Game Photography

I've had a slight interest in photography for some time now and it got me thinking of a silly idea. Imagine doing photography but in video games and like that being a hobby an such. Pretty silly lol

check out "SEASON: A letter to the future", it's a game about filling up a journal with pictures and you take on your travels in the game's world

Something similar to this was kinda what I did in Gmod for a long time after I first bought it. Just posing various models in scenes and then taking pictures of them. Setting up a good composition was always fun.

Gran Turismo 4 is a game that I have used a lot to take photos of cars, it's really fun to take pictures in a PlayStation 2 game.

But yes, I can confirm that the photo studio in GT4 is very fun to tinker with, and the graphics look pretty good for a very very late '04 game (at least to me) so I'd be curious to see what would happen if you put a photo studio image in front of someone and asked roughly what year they think the game is from.

P.S. My personal favourite backdrop growing up was the one where the car would be on a boat in the middle of a river

Yea I send some of my photos online and people are always amazed when I tell them its a PS2 game. Nike one 2022 is also peak xD. Here's some of my photos
