BEST game (in your opinion)?

Not very 2000s... but I need to ask.

What's the BEST game for you? In my opinion it's Luigi's Mansion 3, I love the graphics and the gameplay as it makes me think, I even use it as a brain exercise since the puzzles are kinda hard for people like me

So, What's your favorite game? Can be from any platform (PS3, Wii, X360, etc)

If we're talking strictly about console games, I'm torn between Minecraft LCE and LittleBigPlanet 1 and 2. They both played a huge part in my childhood, and I had a lot of fun creating random structures and pixel arts. LBP's community was awesome and there were a lot of genuinely fun levels that I liked playing. It's sad that the servers are no longer up (Though there are un-official alternatives out there).

In terms of (Mainstream) PC games, Half Life 2 is definitely one of the best. Fast-paced, action packed and with nice graphics and engaging gameplay! As for indie games, it's really hard to say, but the one I enjoyed the most is The Gray Garden.

On PC it's Minecraft hands down, I played probably multiple thousands of hours on it, and sometimes take long breaks but I always come back to it eventually. And I think that's the case for a lot of people too. It's timeless.

On PSP my favorite is Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite, which I also played thousands of hours probably, it's also nostalgic because I used to play it with my brother.

On PS3 it's LittleBigPlanet 2, I love the creativity and freedom that it offers to you, I'm sad that there is no LBP4.

But yeah there are a lot of games I love, but these are my top 3 definitely.

Personally I'm too indecisive to pick just one, so I'll give you a few that I enjoy myself:
Civilization (4 or 6 preferably)
Fire Emblem Engage
Minecraft (Java edition, Older versions)
Houseflipper
And of course, you can't forget the Windows Pinball game.

All time best platform game is sonic adventure (dreamcast verison), just have to get used to the classic sonic jank then its really fun and replayable

and Persona 4 golden is a one of a kind masterpiece and its something everyone should at least try to play

My favourite game of all time is Chicory: A Colorful Tale, it's such a love letter to artists and it means so much to me. Wandersong, a game by the same dev, is also extremely important to me, to the point that i ended up using the name Bard because of it. i recommend both heavily if you want some new indie games to play.

However before i played either of those, LittleBigPlanet 2 was my #1 game. LBP is no doubt the most important series in my life for MANYYYY reasons, it fundamentally shaped who I am and is why I do what I do. It's been in my life as long as I remember. To be honest, I think it just transcends being a favourite game at this point, it is so much more to me and if I were to explain why, i would have to write like a 1000 page essay haha.

tough... but i think my favorite game is Rainworld. it took me probably a year to complete the entire game in-between breaks but never have i ever been so esoterically lost in a world like it, the environments are so beautiful, and I was completely brought to my knees from the difficulty BUT triumphed so hard once I gained the skills for moving on. the lore is so carefully fed to you and the game barely gives you any handouts in terms of difficulty... probably one of the most immersive games out there. the ending was really really cool too... once I beat it i dont even think i explored everywhere on the map... and I definitely have Hunter, Monk, Saint and other runs left to do. its not for everyone for sure but i love it so much and need to come back to it.

i would probably say my top 5 are:

1. Rainworld

• Hollow Knight

• Outer Worlds

• Skyrim

• Breath of the Wild

I enjoy immersive worlds and exploration also i love stupid difficulty / perseverance type games. once I beat it Silksong is probably gonna take one of these spots lol. also elden ring when i get around to playing it. i dont have a lot of time for video games anymore sadly
