I'm quite septic about bringing back "Vine" nowadays, but I'm still curious to see what it can do (mostly with the no AI rules, heck yeah)

yeah i'm worried the website might worsen low attention spans because of vine's time limit
but the "no AI" rule gives me a bit of hope

i’m conflicted. i can’t say i was ever big on vine, and short-form video content has become a big problem these days. the no AI rule is promising, but i know better than to trust tech companies no matter how good their intentions are. but maybe i’ll be wrong and it’ll be a success. we shall see

Pretty sure it's not the first one (the others have closed due to monetization issues I think?) no AI rule is great though. Personally, I was never a fan of Vine or this kind of content in general.

TBH given my experience on alternate platforms, I give it 2 years max. Not really into short form content, but interested to see how it'll go. I did hear that there was a lot of "cringe" content on vine back in the day.

Yeah, that's true. A lot of alternative platforms don't really take off that well.
