I think mushrooms can just generate deep in caves, have found some before :) Its cool theyre all over tho! Never seen that many before :O

In this version I think mushrooms spread very fast, so this probably started as one or two mushrooms which multiplied

Back in the beta I came across a mushroom cave before. I think it's just mushrooms spawning deep in a cave and slowly spreading while the chunks are loaded.
