2000s tech had more soul than todays. pretty much all tech from 1900-2010 had more soul than today's tech. corporate minimalism is a crime but i think its gonna come to an end soon :thumbsup: however, i think that if wild shapes and glossy textures never left then we wouldn't see it nearly as great ...

outside of lava lamps im not sure how many physical things there are but the videogame Mirror's Edge has some absolutely amazing dorfic aesthetics. you can get it for cheap at most secondhand videogame stores.
