its even harder on Xorg surprisingly, i had a more aero-like setup on Niri cause Waybar and Wofi let you use CSS for styling, but ...

switched back to xfce, new setup
picom isn't working right cause there's a bug in the newest xorg-server package on most distros that causes the nvidia driver to not load properly on some machines, and im waiting for a fix. in the meantime im using xfce since it's less buggy with software rendering than picom is.
