god i hate microsoft! it feels like ever since windows 11, things have gotten noticeably worse. even windows 10 was just kinda mediocre/ok in my opinion. i miss windows 7

in a way yeah. u needed microsofts windows package or wtv to actually use it and i dont believe it was available on any other os

i think it was one of the few free browsers when it came out

i mean, by the time that windows 95 plus dropped it was pretty mainstream, cause built in browser and stuff.

This subscription based world is bs imo

I miss when the internet was a place where companies didnt get majorly involved yet

I give or take 5 more years till we see more subscription based browsers

Early youtube was just a fun place where people uploaded silly vids they made at home, regular people,

i think its important to note that microsoft has always sucked. internet explorer being bundled w windows was a huge issue and got them in serious trouble with antitrust law

I mean atp ill say 20 years and we have to pay a subscription to breathe

but yea i do miss a less corporate internet. the whole things soulless now
