its been one of my special interests and i really wanna talk to ppl about it on here

I'm routinely disappointed by how few people know about this game... it used to be a definitive series that no game collection could do without... These days I say "SNAAAAAKE!!" and nobody gets the reference. Not even Sm*sh Br*s players.

...and then whenever I do run into someone familiar with it, it's someone who only played Metal Gear Rising and just parrots the memes over and over. It's truly over for Solidcels.......

My buddy actually runs a clan called 運命 (Japanese for Fate), and we have a whole clan of people for Metal Gear Solid Portable OPs and Portable OPs+ for PSP. We can make ADHOC matches over a VPN, and the SaveMGO community was able to revive Metal Gear Online on PS3 and Infrastructure matches for PSP.

Metal Gear Online is so back!

Metal Gear Solid was an icon. It was the game on PS1 for a while. It made Kojima a rockstar. David Hayter was such a great choice for Snake IMO. It's kind of depressing that more people aren't familiar with it, especially since Delta came out just a little while ago.

The only real comment I have about it ATM is that I am disappointed that the PC Definitive collection didn't use the Substance/Subsistence versions of the sequels. Those are what I ended up playing and missing that extra content they had sucks.

MGS is awesome! Back in 2008, I used to go over to my friend John's house and play MGS4, and I finally bought my own copy when when the PS3 slim came out in August '09. As far as MGS1 and other games are concerned, I played them on emulator but got MGS3 when that came out for 3DS.

Actually I used to browse a Kojima fan forum then too, it was called Junker HQ. It focused on his earlier works like Snatcher and Policenauts.
