in my old laptop, with windows 10, i was able to make my own layout just fine. however when i got a new laptop this year i realized windows 11 is significantly worse to manage layouts with. i DID read it was complicated, but i didn't think it was this much.

i've tried revert8plus, but for some reason, the taskbar icons were unreasonably large, including the maximize, minimize and close buttons in a window. keep in my mind my display scale is at 125%!!

i was wondering if there were any better ways to make aero layouts for windows 11, for someone beginning from the ground up. thank you.

:sign_newhere:

if i REALLY have to change my display scale, i guess i'll consider it... otherwise, any help would be appreciated.

i'd suggest either changing your display size OR looking at the windows 10/11 customization reccs on the official website's resources page for other theming options
heads up tho: i heard from a windows 11 user, that using open shell with retrobar causes retrobar to be buggy on windows 11
however i used both on windows 10 without issue
