I'm talking about games for Windows XP or older that you can play on LAN with friends

here are some of mine :

Atomic Bomberman

A very classic one but always a lot of fun, It's Bomberman playable with up to 5 PCs with 2 players per PCs, making it 10 people who can play in a same game, it's pure chaos

It works on Windows 95 and higher tho on most of my windows XP installations, the installer doesn't work, the solution is simply to copy the files to your PC from the CD manually

You will have to install the IPX protocol on your system if it's not already installed

Midtown Madness 2

That one is a good one to just chill in cruise mode and doing whatever you want with the cars, of course you can also race but I just find it more enjoyable to just go full openworld. It's also very easy to put mods in to make things funnier

works on Windows 95 and higher

Works with TCP/IP and IPX

Jazz Jackrabbit 2

Both an awesome solo and multiplayer game, in fact, you can still play online with an original copy of the game with a pc of it's time, when I first did with a windows 98 PC it blew my mind lol. although most people just use a mod called jj2 plus and I never got it to work on an old PC

works on Windows 95 and higher

works with tcp/ip, IPX and online

I like Quake, Quake 2, Unreal Tournament 99/2004, and Descent. I also like non-FPS stuff like Diablo 1/2, Starcraft, Warcraft 2, and GTA (needs IPX). For some reason it seems like there are just tons of FPS games.
