Metalheart / Depthcore is so underrated

I've never seen anything like it! I love the way the dark and light colors blend to create a very abstract but immersive piece. What's happening in it doesn't need to make sense, it just looks beautiful, nonetheless. I follow countless artists who produce this kind of work. It looks very calming and reminds me of some music I listen to like Solar Fields (artist of the Mirror's Edge soundtrack) & H.U.V.A. Network (Solar Fields & Aes Dana).

If I had to give this aesthetic a theme song, it would be Distances by H.U.V.A. Network; the album this song comes from under the same name is also just a perfect soundtrack for the aesthetic. Even Microsoft had a metalheart theme pack with wallpapers back in the day by Indivision 07 Grow B.

Here's some links for you to view if you wanna learn more about it

yeah even the name for metalheart is beautiful honestly!! the limitations in the 90s/2000s really lead to some iconic designs
