besides frutiger aero, of course. it’s obviously back, or else, what are we doing here?

this can be anything. tech, trends, products, franchises, anything you miss from the 2000s that you want to see again

malls, for me. having a place you can go to socialize, play games, have a nice lunch and support businesses all at once is something that the kids of today need to experience

Video games consoles corners in malls/supermarkets/games shops etc, there're almost no more of them and I miss it, I loved so much being able to test a console (there were often a lot of kids around the console to be able to test it lmao) they were also often very decorated in the same aesthetic of the presented console. Sometimes I see some PS5 corners nowadays (mostly in airports), but it's not as decorated and eventful as it was before. I'm glad I was able to experience it in the 2000s/2010s

I remember there used to be way more different video game stores in the 2000s, which sold PC games in physical format (those are dead now), and many other games at cheaper prices than Gamestop (or Micromania in my country), kinda miss those. I also miss brand new CRT TVs being sold in stores.

Micromania shops back in the days were so fun ! Now the only ones still existing just sell anime merchs and overpriced second-hand games (I mean I like anime merch, but I still miss when it was just a pure video games shop, and about second-hand games, that's so tiring how is it overpriced now, retro gaming is almost now a "luxury" because of the prices)

ah yes, the mcdonald’s playplace. those were always fun. even for someone who doesn’t get fast food today (on that healthy eating arc, baby), i can’t stand what mcdonald’s have done to their image. all their restaurant buildings are so grey and brown now, like they’re trying to be sophisticated and modern. well, it sure isn’t working for me

When media was creative, not for money, at least just not like how stuff is nowadays.

I see YouTubers just going like "Oh it will ruin my revenue!" or "I will lose monetization for this!" when YouTube pays people not much per view, since pay from producing videos is more of a byproduct of getting views rather than the main reason to make YouTube videos. It's supposed to be a creative site, not a job.
Movies nowadays are just live remakes of old movies or crap movies about how Super Dave will save the day from a failed attempt to make Dr. Doofenshmirtz but genuinely evil. But back then? The Lord of the Rings, The Incredibles, Harry Potter, Avatar, etc. Creative movies with a story that wasn't for the sole purpose of making money and capitalizing off of nostalgia.
