Seems FA imo, is it Cinnamon 1.8 ? It reminds of OS X that's a pretty UI (sorry if I'm wrong about Cinnamon version, I'm not really a pro about Linux distributions)

This soundtrack from Steins;Gate (visual novel, 2009)
Listened to this track recently, it can got some FA vibes imo (mostly at the beginning and around 0:50), but I'm not sure it can be considered as it, so I'm curious about everyone's opinion

Edit : I also add the youtube link of the soundtrack, because the embed video doesn't seem to work on mobile version :

Edit n.2 : oh by adding the link Proboard also embed it, so we got two embed videos of the same soundtrack omg lmao I removed the first one

the theme might be used as a main theme in old linux mint versions
{(SPOILER AHEAD!)}
still happy that they kept it in newer versions

Yes that definitely gives Frutiger Aero vibes to me.

I think you're right. Heck, now that you mentioned it, I'd even say that a lot of the Steins;Gate soundtrack and even that of the other games from the Science Adventure series do carry that "Clean, technological feel" that feels close to Aero.

I don't think it's glossy enough to be Fru-Aero

Skeuomorphic or more specifically postmorphic (matte skeuomorphism used for a brief period in the early 2010s) is how I'd describe it

Would we consider the 3DS default menus to fall into FA? Or does it lean more into it's own thing?

By extension, do we consider the music to fit the aesthetic? (Main theme for example)
