in my silly looking opinion
i do feel like its a step on the right diretion but however could've been made much better than what they have done of course
i mean i think companies will improve on what apple had done and make a well-mixed flat but idfk uhhh reflection?

but i mean it's just me saying that everything could happen

I honestly hope theyre just going thru a phase of "how can we make this look good" because a LOT of people criticized Luna when it came out for its fisher price look. I think at that time, Microsoft wanted to show off the improved graphics capabilities of new PCs of the time such as gradients and a wider range of colors, while keeping it playful. What replaced it was a much more elegant design style we now know as Aero.

Liquid glass as a transitional style would be great, but I'm not so sure that's the case. Hopefully they are just taking notes on what works instead of going all-in with this look, but historically that's not how Apple works. When flat design was rolled out for iOS, they didn't pivot their design style at all until coming up with the Liquid Glass we see today.
Transitional styles are more of a Microsoft thing, as was the case with Longhorn and Windows ME. Apple isn't as dynamic; they tend to stick to one chosen design until it becomes trite. But hey, I could be wrong. Like I said, I do want this to be a transition to a look with more pop and personality, but I'm not sure that's the case.

Liquid Glass? More like Liquid Snake.

Liquid Glass definitely feels like a step in the right direction and i was very excited when it was revealed but it does have a way to go for sure. i'm very glad flat design is finally starting to die off though
