How to turn Windows 11 latest version into Windows 7 style

Unread post by orangethewell »

Hello, people!

This isn't a video of mine, but I thought that it should be useful for everyone here that can't afford using the Linux because of some exclusive dependency to Windows (my case :yellow_frown:) or can't use Windows 10 or 7 because need to use 11 (my case too)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqKw_KCIGK4 This is the video! :yellow_biggrin:

it won't exactly work for latest versions since the video clarifies that it could present issues on 24H2 and above... :yellow_look: still appreciate the tutorial however :yellow_wave:

Yeah, a suggestion is installing Windows 11 ltsc, for me it works flawslessly with all features listed in the video. The only drawback I think is language, since there's some patches that only work in english iso, like non-XAML UAC dialog and other features that uses .mui files.

But, it looks great since Windows 10 have lost support! :yellow_biggrin:

well why not you use Windows 10 ltsc? instead of Windows 11 as Windows 11 has some problems with theming because Microsoft likes to break things related to Windows :orange_confused:

Hello!

I actually need Windows 11 for my job since the company uses a VPN that blocked Windows 10 access. For now I came back to Windows 10 LTSC and i'm thinking to put Windows 11 to a dual boot setup with a very minimal area for Windows 11 itself.
