switched back to xfce, new setup

picom isn't working right cause there's a bug in the newest xorg-server package on most distros that causes the nvidia driver to not load properly on some machines, and im waiting for a fix. in the meantime im using xfce since it's less buggy with software rendering than picom is.

My distro's having an identity crisis. It's Lubuntu but since I installed MATE it identifies itself as Ubuntu MATE. Peculiar
I'd rather stay mainstream than going the funky route and installing something I wouldn't know how to manage, though I'd pick Fedora as an alternative for it's simplicity and stability
