If I started a Frutiger Aero themed Cafe, Would you go?

Unread post by BingoBopple04 »

Ended up moving the topic across to here as I realised this would probably fall more into aesthetics moreso general conversation.

This is hypothetical. But if I was to start up a full Frutiger Aero themed cafe. Who would want to be a part of this? And would you come to this place if it opened up? What suggestions and ideas would you have if we could expand in space as well as venue for example creating new areas for specific frutiger aero subgenres etc.

(I have no intention to start up a business as I don't know how to or the time and money to do that, but curious to see the extent of where people are with wanting real frutiger aero theme places.)

I would. A cafe with glossy surfaces, vibrant colours and maybe even mini aquariums/fish tanks would be so beautiful.

Depends. What food would be there? (Aero chocolate ?) How much would it cost? How accurate would it be to the aesthetic? What music? If there's Takeshi Abo and Vita music at the cafe then yes

And let's hypothetically pretend this cafe is in every single country that us forum members live in.
it's christmas, ya know what that means :xmas_cool:

I'd have sections in the cafe based on different themes, for example, Helvetica Aero may be overrated or too popular, but I'd like an Aurora area, because that's cool looking, or maybe DORFic too!.

And depending on the location ofc, I probably wouldn't be able to come by, but if I did, I wouldn't identify as V.Voda, as I'd like to keep anonymity!

For drinks, use plastic/glass cups. It'd look pretty aero.

Ooo I see I see. Well really depends on what would be frutiger aero, but probably mostly gelatinous deserts, cakes or possibly if you tried to make it like a restaurant you could use things like fish and all that like what someone mentioned in this forum. I think it would be a funny and clever idea to include Aero chocolate to the menu as well, a simple chocolate bar but seems fitting in the idea of frutiger aero.
Well depends on the economy, but would try to serve the stuff at the lowest price possible while still maintaining enough profit to keep the place going.
I would aim to try make it as close to the aesthetic as possible, within the confines of the cafe of course. I can't really control what goes on outside. But could have a possibility of including different areas within the cafe if it got popular enough to fit in different subgenres to suit everyone's taste.
Music would most definitely have Takeshi Abo and most notably the song LEASE, I had been developing my own playlist of fa songs which I could assume would be played in this fictional cafe. I am actually not too sure about vita music, never really heard of it. Is it a genre or specific song of music? Would be keen to give it a listen. I reckon I could include small bits of early 2000s pop songs or electronic house music, nothing hardcore because I do know the realm of frutiger aero music is pretty limited so it would be looping the same songs in no time.

I suppose if I was able to make it like this, I would love to go above and beyond to build the immersion.

Vita music is music in the PlayStation Vita UI.
And aero chocolate actually exists in Australia! Coincidentally the logo is glossy and it's meant to taste bubbly.

Ooh yeah for sure there would be vita music. Just had a listen and definitely sounds good for that. I think the last time I had an aero chocolate it was slightly melted so I didn't really get the whole bubbly experience :yellow_frown:
