So, recently Windows 10 after it's end of support decided to drop one more little update on my computer and that NUKED my setup I spent so long getting just the way I wanted it. I was SO MAD when that happened but luckily, I was able to reinstall Windows and the theme and it was really buggy at first, but after a few restarts, I got this working again using the Kasane Teto wallpaper from this website and it looks pretty sweet :)

Also window updates are hella boring and awful i have my old lenovo laptop that still runs windows 10 and it hasnt received any updates since 2023 due to low storage (which i made it to be low on purpose btw) :yellow_sleep:


yeah, it's Revert8Plus; and I'm surprised it still even works 'cus the updates have been pushing it so hard not to work properly but I'm glad it's functional now :yellow_bouncey:

I think there's a lot of bad things about web 3.0. It's obvious to everyone here I'm sure. The corporate influence over the internet became more & more front and center. You also had to deal with rich CEOs hyping up things like NFTs and now AI. There's also the controversial minimalist aesthetic. But I don't think web 3.0 is completely bad. It also allowed for smaller platforms like the fediverse that try to bridge the gap between the centralized internet and the decentralized one. I don't use the fediverse that much & deleted my Mastodon. However I still use Peertube and Funkwhale occasionally.

Looks beautiful. The green transparent green chair and the computers definetly give Frutiger aero vibes, as well as the view on the sea, gives futuristic vibes. Kinda reminds me of the Sims 3: Into the Future expansion pack.

Given that he showed screenshots from Reddit and gave NO constructive criticism about our like for the aesthetic, it looked more like a snark poster who was trying to "debate" for clout, or was debating for the sake of debating.

It was a good idea to ban 'im otherwise I was about to go on a full rant about how I lived through the era and completely understand why people saw (AND still see) the appeal of it to this day.

tl;dr of the rant: The aesthetic felt creative and refreshing (in my brain frutiger aqua is literally a glass of water and frutiger eco reminds me of my childhood in the park) and the de evolution into flat design just made room for oversimplification...

We have Data centers that are literally ruining the quality of life of people in real life , just to host AI junk.
They are raising electricity bills, polluting water, making loud sleep reducing noise, and are giving off a crap ton of light pollution.
The people who live near them definitely did not agree to letting the companies build these centers, and they don't agree with the blatant lies the companies say, the lies being that their water is fine, the electricity is fine and that they get more jobs from this.

Btw the data centers have their electricity bills pushed to the rest of the people in the state* instead of paying them themselves.

These data centers exist to ruin people's lives online and offline, stealing art and text, illegal usages like extortion, and other general dehumanization of, people. These are the same** computers telling teenagers to commit suicide.

bro I have such a weird situation that I don't know what to feel..

I have a friend and she's a girl but for some reason I definitely don't feel any attraction to her at all but she's the only girl I feel awkward around and I've worked with her on a million group projects

But the thing is I feel like I've gotten too attached

I'll literally be proud of myself for purposefully working with my other friends or walking home instead

And I think I'm too nice to her at some points so sometimes I just come out as too rude

I get incredibly defensive when anyone says I have a crush on her which I don't

I always consider her in group projects.. I try to crack jokes around her

AFAIK there should be Adium which provides support for this specific protocol and I heard that there's an application (which is lost media) which was supposed to be more official. If you do have a Mac machine and wish to test, we embrace you with open arms.
