I use LibreWolf which is a fork of Firefox because it respects your privacy and it doesn't try to block ad-blockers like Chrome does. I also love all the extensions that it offers.

But generally Chrome will load websites faster than Firefox I noticed, especially YouTube.

idk if this counts but a long time ago i wanted to play sonic rush on my DSi so i downloaded it from a roms site but for some reason the game kept crashing after playing for some time well at this point i was using twilight menu but i also have an R4 so i could have transferred the game to that (i would later discover the rom did work on the R4) but my solution ended up being to just buy the game i literally waited for months for it to arrive when i could have played it perfectly on the R4 the thing is i'm not even all that happy to own the game as i bought a european version instead of american or japanese (it was the only one i found for a decent price on ebay) and because my collection of ds games are american and japanese only and the european ds cases are bigger and transparent it makes it look so ugly on my collection and i want to get a american or maybe japanese copy instead (my ds is japanese after all) but then what would i do with my european copy :yellow_frown:

i personally prefer ios 5 or ios 6 since postmorphism on a phone looks kinda weird to me

i will not upgrade to Win11 until my games, mods, and apps stop working on Win10. :yellow_notgood:

and even then, all of my favorite games and apps are old enough or run well on Win10 anyway. Godot, SAI2, and Skyrim, for example. when Firefox drops Win10 support, i will switch to Palemoon or Seamonkey.

i am concerned about security, however. i think after some time i will need to stop using the internet... or try a portable Linux OS/ WLS . WLS seems like a good idea to me, though it still depends on Windows system updates :blue_rolleyes: i hope Linux enthusiasts will figure out something for it!

i only have one working laptop (and two very very old laptops which i need to repair). i don't know when i'll be able to obtain another one, if ever.

edit: damn, i forgot abour dual boot! thank you for reminding me about it! :sign_thankyoublue: not sure how smooth it would work for me, considering that i'm not really into tinkering the system...

totally agree with users above about S.T.A.L.K.E.R., DOOM and Fallout: NV (3 is also cool!), Sims 2, and especially Sims 3. i still play some them :yellow_biggrin:

you didn't mention any genre, so i will recommend different ones:

Mass Effect (2007) and Mass Effect 2 (2010) (sci-fi, RPG, shooter)
TES : Morrowind (2002) and Oblivion (2006) (fantasy RPGs)
Need for Spee d: Most Wanted (2005) (racing)
Quake III: Arena (2000) (shooter). it has multiplayer and some servers are still alive! :yellow_bouncey:

what’s something weird you did when you were a kid? i assume many of us are still young, but think back and share your goofiest childhood moments

for instance: i used to hate music class and would sing like a robot (or not even “sing” per se) during the christmas musicals my elementary school did every year. idk why, i just did. which is a far cry from now, when music is the lifeforce of my existence

The weirdest shit i done as a kid was usually opening an optical disk drive (it was built in on my toshiba laptop) and play with it many times
like closing it and opening it.... theres this weird thing that my father told me is that i used to scratch cds but i dont think i did that lmao
