i think it's absurd.. it's going to completely kill off roblox if this happens. not just because players will be segregated by age, but because this also extends to team create (source)

also i just think "we're going to force players of all ages to send us video selfies of themselves that we will definitely delete" is really the worst possible option here. like.. okay, man. i guess we're having nine year olds take selfies for roblox staff now. this certainly won't backfire

I've always been curious as to where or who this picture was taken from. This picture was used during the Pre-Reset era of Windows Longhorn. One reddit post points to Tom Bean but I checked all photos by him and didn't find anything. I really like the picture as someone that sees these types of fields often. Howdy! I'm Frænk Dragon 7 1 for friends Ciccio 03 (pronunced Chiccio) or Frank.
I'm a italian guy born in 12-14-2003 and I've always been into aesthetics, like vaporwave and frutiger aero.

My hobbies are drawing, editing videos and music, writing scripts and other stuff, modding games (especially old, retro and recent ones), and much more.
In the free time I love to:
Read manga, comics, and books.
Watch anime, movies, and animated TV series.
Listen to music (an obsession of mine).
Play retro and new video games (there are very few new ones).

The reason I love the Frutiger Aero is because I partly lived through that era, and when I saw the phenomenon spread, I became even more passionate about it than before, I'm glad this community exists.

I had an album I really liked to listen to called night parole by 18 DAYS. one day, it disappeared from spotify, bandcamp, literally everywhere. You could find traces of it online, but nowhere to play or listen.

So I contacted 18 DAYS / TURQUOISE DEATH (their alt) via bandcamp and they told me the following.

That is me, I did make that album. Since it was crafted entirely out of samples and chops, I had to take it down at some point as to avoid some sort of legal action. Unfortunately I think I have lost the album, though I will have a look to see if it exists anywhere. If otherwise, I guess it's lost media. Shame because it was a pretty fun album. I will attempt to find it though, and release it on 18 DAYS Bandcamp once again, as I think by now I'm probably in the clear to post it again.

It was indeed very sample heavy, slowed down versions of other songs which I cannot identify (but I have not tried very hard).

They ended up not releasing the album. I went to the r/lostmedia discord server and asked, and suddenly some guy with a user name bruh69420 (NOT KIDDING) replied with a link to the download, no context, no replying to my attempts at conversation. The link no longer works, either. this was like, more than a year ago, and i was very happy to listen to the album again, so i just left it at that.

Not sure, but I think I am the only person with the album at the moment, besides maybe the creator. So if you'd like to take a listen, here's my upload of the album:

I've already been talking a certain amount on the forum, so I feel this introduction might not be as warranted as it may have been when I first signed up, but this seems to be a rite of passage for members of this space, so t'is about time I make one of these.

Hi, I'm December Winterwolf. I'm English-Italian, living in England, I'm studying Computer Science at university, and I don't know whether or not I want to give myself the label "furry" because of some of the things the fandom gets up to, but at the same time I enjoy mingling amongst them when they don't delve into those more 18+ topics. I've heard that there's a separate term for completely SFW furry content called "fluffy content", maybe I should look into that. Perhaps there's a fluffy forum out there somewhere.

Speaking of furries, I was walking back from food shopping a couple of weeks ago, and was walking behind 2 furries, which was pretty unexpected to me. I forget the characters' names, but one of them was like a red and black dragon, which was very cool. The two went into a park which I walked past to get back to my dorm, and I saw other furries. It turns out there's a pretty frequent furry meetup either there or in another part of town, which I find very cool. The thought of actually seeing furries in real life, let alone seeing them meet in a group in real life, made me happy.

But anyways, back to the introduction. As for what I like doing, I mostly like drawing, reading, listening to music, and playing videogames. I'll admit I haven't been drawing much at all, but I'm currently (slowly) redesigning some PAW Patrol OCs of mine from 2019, starting with their badges (I'm currently stuck on my engineering pup's one since I'm debating on whether or not to change his uniform colour... I think I probably won't since none of my other pups use brown)!

I mostly like reading fiction books aimed at 12-year-olds, often involving mystery and action - and lots of animals. Some of my favourite books so far are Watership Down, Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes (I've read up to and including The Final Problem ) and Warrior Cats (my judgement may change as I've only read the first 3 books of the first arc, still waiting for the last 3 to arrive). That said, I remember thoroughly enjoying Fermat's Last Theorem, a non-fiction book about the man who proved a 1637 maths problem in 1995.

The videogames I generally play are DS/3DS titles (think Super Mario 3D Land, Nintendogs, Professor Layton, Ace Attorney, Animal Crossing New Leaf and Wild World, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3DS Version) or Roblox games (mainly Piggy, but I'll sometimes play other games like Warrior Cats Ultimate Edition or Tower of Hell). I also have a Game Boy Advance, which I use to play Donkey Kong Country GBA and Pokemon Red, a PlayStation Vita for Minecraft and Super Meat Boy, and a coral pink Switch Lite for Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Sonic X Shadow Generations!

My music taste is... quite random overall, although I have noticed a trend of preferring music that has a distinct melody over, say, "screamo" death metal or otherwise very "grindy" electronic music. The band whose discography I've heard the most is probably Muse, who released their debut album Showbiz in 1999, and released their most recent album Will Of The People in 2022. My personal favourite albums are their 2001 Origin of Symmetry (has some of the greatest bangers imo) and their 2012 The 2nd Law (overall best soundtrack, again, imo). I've also heard they're releasing a new album sometime next year, which while I'm not entirely sure if it's true, I definitely hope it is!

...I think I've rambled enough, I'll just say that I also like reminiscing about stuff sometimes, and that after revamping my PAW Patrol OCs (or even on top of that) I want to develop my own sort of original story thing based on this cat who was originally a self-insert in some strange world where all the characters of various mediums I enjoyed as a child would come together and interact.

Well, that was wonderful. Good time was had by all, I'm pooped.

In early to mid 2025 I found the Frutiger Aero Archive, and learned how to spell frutiger.

As everyone else has said, "aquatic ambience", "LEASE" etc have been heavily overused. What I think would be a very good candidate for "Frutiger" music is ambient artist Hiroshi Yoshimura. Despite his music dating from the 80s/90s, they all have an airy, serene and "sleek" sound that would fit very well with Frutiger Aero.

Windows Phone failed because Microsoft made it hard for phone manufacturers to cooperate with them, by imposing more control over the hardware user experience than Google, which meant that nobody wanted to partner with them to produce their phones and their app store became an empty wasteland so nobody wanted to use it.

In another universe where Microsoft took better decisions, such as releasing their phone earlier than 2010 and being more easy to work with, the Windows Phone would still be around, maybe it would even have taken Android's place in the duopoly.

My favourite game of all time is Chicory: A Colorful Tale , it's such a love letter to artists and it means so much to me. Wandersong , a game by the same dev, is also extremely important to me, to the point that i ended up using the name Bard because of it. i recommend both heavily if you want some new indie games to play.

However before i played either of those, LittleBigPlanet 2 was my #1 game. LBP is no doubt the most important series in my life for MANYYYY reasons, it fundamentally shaped who I am and is why I do what I do. It's been in my life as long as I remember. To be honest, I think it just transcends being a favourite game at this point, it is so much more to me and if I were to explain why, i would have to write like a 1000 page essay haha.
