    chromebook is a basically a shitty version of a macbook that only runs progressive web apps and therefore can only be used for online stuff. you can't write a text file in a normal text editor that isnt google docs

    my mom doesn't know how to use a computer. she tried to put her email address in the start menu's search bar. but then again she's been using a flip phone for years now. it's kinda frustrating because she immediately jumped into getting a win11 laptop and acts like she knows everything

    i think google offers some deal or something to schools? a lot of the people i know barely know how to use windows cause theyve only used chromebooks
