yeah, i agree 100%! cultured parents have very small give to their limits unfortunately so i feel all the last few years of me being silly hasnt helped

i think sometimes parents get so focused on having their kids grow up to be responsible they forget they're still just kids & do stupid things without thinking. i say try and prove it through your actions if they don't believe your words. show them that you will be more responsible next time

Another issue with my actions though is that they seem to mean nothing to them? maybe im not looking at it the right way, but it seems that all the good stuff i do doesnt mean anything to them. They are constantly telling me that i do too much in arguments that i talk back too much or i say things that just get them to shut up so i can move on and not take anything from what theyre saying. But when I try to stay quiet and take in what theyre saying it doesnt end very well for me

I try to base my actions based off what they ask and improve on it but they dont seem to notice them and only take the bad

Anyway, enough of me yapping
